Hepatitis B is 100 Times More Infectious Than HIV

Hepatitis B virus is one cause of liver infection or liver weight. In America, 1 in 20 people can be infected with this virus. Each year there are 2 million people infected, 350 people with chronic status, and an estimated 600 thousand people worldwide die from this disease,

This virus has a transmission medium that is similar to HIV, through blood and body fluids. Hepatitis B is transmitted through skin contact, sweat, tears.

Some symptoms of this disease include:

Decreased appetite
Nausea vomiting
Abdominal pain especially around the upper right of the bottom ribs
Yellow skin and eye color of white should also begin to turn yellow, known as jaundice.
Joint pain

Recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) that the hepatitis B virus potentially 50 to 100 times more infectious (infectious) compared with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).

Risk of Hepatitis B increases if:

Users of unsafe syringe
Unprotected sexual relations. Use condoms with latex or polyurethane material if latex allergy.
Born of mothers suffering from Hepatitis B

If you feel has taken a risk of infection of Hepatitis B, immediately to the doctor to be able to get an injection of immunoglobulin within 24 hours.

If you know has suffered from Hepatitis B, it's good for:

Always protected sexual intercourse
To express your sexual partner that you are suffering from Hepatitis B
Also pointed out to the health worker if you are being treated in hospital for a particular disease, so health workers can protect themselves by wearing gloves when performing medical acts
Do not lend your hair or mustache razor and toothbrush
Pointed out to the gynecologist if you are pregnant

Hepatitis B can be acute (less than 6 months) or chronic (more than 6 months). Chronic conditions can cause cirrhosis of the liver condition or conditions that cause permanent damage to liver tissue, liver function failure or even a fatal cancer.

Although specific therapy for this virus is still under further investigation, this virus can actually be prevented simply by making the vaccine. Hepatitis B vaccine Engerix-B is known as an effective way to provide 95% protection in children and adults.

It should be noted that there are side effects after administration of this vaccine in the form of weak, headache, nausea and swelling around the injection, which did not last long.
