Kate Winslet Save Grandma's 90 Years of Fire

Taipan asal Inggris Sir Richard Branson merasa berhutang budi dengan aktris Kate Winslet. Bintang 'Titanic' itu telah melakukan aksi heroik untuk menyelamatkan ibunda Richard yang berusia 90 tahun saat terjadi kebakaran.

Musibah tersebut terjadi di mansion mewah Richard di pulau Necker miliknya. Saat itu angin berhembus kencang dan petir menghantam sehingga menimbulkan percikan api.

"Terima kasih banyak untuk Kate Winslet. Dia yang membawa ibu saya keluar rumah, dia yang merengkuhnya ke dalam pelukannya dan meminta mereka keluar secepat mungkin," ujar Richard seperti dilansir The Sun, Selasa (23/8/2011).

Virgin Records owner Kate described the action as a scene in a Hollywood movie. He is also grateful for everybody who was in his mansion to get out safely.

"My mother aged 90 years and can not walk, (rescue) it requires quick reactions, and Kate is very good," she says.

"He (she) felt was on the set and waited to hear the word 'cut' but the word did not come," he added.

Time of the incident, she and her lover Louis Dowler was vacationing in Richard's mansion. Employers who have 400 companies with total assets of U.S. $ 4.2 billion, it is often invite famous stars to the home resting.
