Malaysian Government Sites uprooted tens of Hacker

Various websites owned by the Malaysian government got beat in a wave of cyber attacks by hackers. At least 51 websites targeted and disorders occur in 41 websites are being targeted.

The incident was announced by the authority of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Attack on the website ends in. Gov.my happened around midnight Wednesday local time.

"Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission can confirm that indeed there were attempts to hack on some websites," said MCMC as reported by AFP and quoted on Thursday (16/06/2011).

According to MCMC, the recovery at the attack sites do not take too long. Most websites claimed to have recovered from the attack.

Not yet clear who the perpetrators of this attack, but previously there was a warning from the hacker group Anonymous. The group is already quite famous hacker is threatening to attack local government websites.

Anonymous threatened to strike because they do not agree with the policy of Internet censorship Malaysia. Previously, this group also sabotage some websites in Turkey related to similar reasons.
