Business Page in Foursquare now no longer confined only to the big brands with money and power. These services are self-serve now where anyone can make it.
In the past 18 months, Foursquare has created about 3,000 business page in-house, depending on the demands of developers and designers as well as coordinate with the creative team.
Such a process is apparently time-consuming and limit the growth model that limits the amount of business that can be 'in-follow' at Foursquare. As a result, location-based services tend to work with big names such as Louis Vuitton, Zagat and The New York Times.
Now, business or any company can create a Business Page Foursquare for free, allowing them to set appropriate brand page where fans could desire to follow her. Self-serve model like this would be very beneficial for small businesses.
The biggest development in the experience business page ie the ability to have a whole group of people who set up the same page. Foursquare also introduced a new tool that allows the brand to add multiple page 'managers' to the account page.
